I doubt we hear anymore public statement from Tunsil's stepdad. His lawyer has given him the word to shut the hell up and let him do his job.
It's going to be the responsibility of some national sport writer to dig for that gold.
Once exposed,..I would expect another LOI. Until then, I'm thinking the NCAA is apprehensive due to the court of public opinion. If they didn't care about that, they would have found the same material that Mars and SR stumbled upon. As of now, they probably believe they have what they came looking for.

Or is it all but a guarantee that these phone records will indeed become public? Because to me, if these records become public it is game, set, match for that program....I'm just worried somehow they'll keep them hidden.

I'd imagine that it (the university phone records) would still be subject to FOI requests. Plus Rosebowl tweeted something about school phone records not being subject to redaction.

They are denying Tom Mars Freezus phone records, they know what's in there and they know it's their ass when these guys start going thru the records and find and trace these calls.

Why doesn't SA39 request via FOIA, Freezes and his OM recruiter's State-Issued laptop, cell phone, and emails. I'm sure MSU computer science students could find something interesting -

Why would your Head Coach, The face of your program, in this case Freeze, actually be the one making the calls to the escort services??? The Head Coach of an SEC school making 5 million year has to make Hooker calls??? Seriously???
Why not put some low level staffer, overzealous booster, or basically anybody except your scripture quoting freaking Head Coach in charge of these sordid calls??? It just doesn't make any sense. Would you trust a 22-year old GA with making these calls and keeping their mouth shut? Also, assistant coaches leave for other programs and I'm not sure I'd want my secrets leaving with them.
