COI Infractions Chairman Greg Christopher & Dan Mullen = Friends
The Rebs are going to freak out when they put this together. It's pretty common knowledge to anyone who is familiar with Dan. As many of yall know, Dan was at Bowling Green under Urban Meyer in the early 2000s. Mullen was the QB coach for Meyer, not his OC. Many folks don't know that. Meyer's OC and associate head coach was Gregg Brandon who got the head job at BG after Meyer left and Mullen went on the be the OC at Utah. Insert Greg Christopher. Christopher was the AD at Bowling Green for Brandon's last few years and had Mullen on his short list for HC that all ADs keep on hand, when Mullen was the OC at Florida. Long story short, Brandon lasted a year too long and Mullen got hot and snatched up by MSU. That didn't stop those 2 from having a respectful relationship that dates back over a decade. Christopher isn't bringing in Leo Lewis to blow up the NCAA's case. He's bringing him in to justify the hammer he's about to drop for his old buddy Dan Mullen.

Well, there goes the neighborhood. We'll have about 8,00,000 threads on this all over rebel land by tomorrow. Godfrey will probably write an article about it. Someone will sue someone immediately. Doesn't matter who. Anyone will do. Just sue.

I'm honestly shocked Yancy and company haven't started the "he must recuse himself" mantra yet. You can bet the house this will be the excuse after the hammer.
-
There is no way he will recuse himself. How would he earn his gratuity payment if he does not come across for his buddy.

So my Bulldog Club money is going to a former AD at Bowling Green. Ok. I can accept that.
