    Shout out to Slayer Lures

I heard about their weedless jigs for redfish and had to buy a pack to try out for marsh fishing. Now that they are in my hand, I think they'll be great for bass too in cover. Anyway, my order was 1 pack of 3 jigs. That's it. They sent me a big bag of complimentary plastics to try and my invoice had a hand written thank you note. A gesture like that will keep a guy like me coming back. That's above and beyond customer service in my book.

Beast, what color combo would you use for the marsh around OS with this jig?

Depends on water. In really clean water I like glow/clear/glitter. In stained water I like dark with glitter & contrast like a chart tail. I've caught fish on the red tail vortex shad in every water condition. Don't know what it is about that bait. Also depends on what they're chasing. If shrimp are around, it's hard to beat the clear/glow colors.

Thanks! I'll be back on the water next weekend! The color scheme will help!
