State fans won't catch this from Tuohy qoute

Yesterday Geoff Calkins did the piece he had to do, reach out to Sean Tuohy for comment. Read here:
    http://www.commercialappeal.com/stor...medium=twitter

Here is the qoute you need to focus on

You have a guy who is in the Ole Miss leadership circle who is admitting that he's chosen to put his head in the sand and ignore. That's a profound statement by a guy who got Freeze the football job and has the ear of Vitter and has a ton of juice with the Chancellor.

Now here's the part of that state folks won't get. Andy Kennedy's contract was chosen not to be extended despite being the best coach they've ever had and assembled their best recruiting class they've ever had in year 1 of the pavilion being built. Tuohy is the one who pushed the Chancellor to do that. Well, when Andy's contract debacle is made public he loses his top assistant to LSU and the jewel of his recruiting class (along with another good recruit). Tuohy's pushing of Vitter led to major losses in coaches & recruiting for AK. Killed all program momentum he had built. Neal McCready went as far as to report said rumor and reach out to Tuohy for comment and Tuohy denied it. Neal went on to say he didn't believe Tuohy on his podcast. If I'm Andy Kennedy and I see a qoute by the guy who just wrecked my basketball program say he chooses to stick his head in the sand about Freeze, I'm on fire.

Football gets all the attention but that whole Athletic Department is a total shit show from an administration standpoint.

Well just about everywhere Bjork has been gets investigated by the NCAA so he keeps on doing a fantastic job for our rival. Is he secretly working with Jackie to burn down the Plantation?

He doesn't want to know bc he doesn't want to admit he was complicit. Fine Christians aren't complicit.

Okay, I hope this isn't too insensitive. I wanted to say this a few weeks ago but it is all the more applicable now.

OM is like a woman abused by her husband.

Until last Friday they were completely Tammy Wynette-ing the NCAA sanctions and had chosen to

(Actually HF somewhat favors Tammy. Hmmm!)

Now you have Touhy publicly admitting he is going to put his "head in the sand". Next time he should tell the report "no comment".

There is definitely more going on here. Touhy and Archie are both personally responsible for bringing HF to OM. If the rest goes on record it will be a major black eye for those who were on the "search" committee..

Even though Freeze is not HC anymore, Tuohy can take solace in the fact that Freeze baptized his son...

Sounds like Sgt. Schultz on Hogan's Heroes. "I see nothing. I was not here."

I'm thinking he sticks his head in the sand on "just what is in that Taco Bell ground beef".

I hope they cleaned the tank after Freeze was in it. No telling what kind of bacteria might be floating around in there.

He doesn't want to admit he was well aware of what Bucky has been doing since they were both coaches at briarcrest. Why? Are they just that good a friend? Is he that concerned about winning? Or is he scared shitless of being named an accessory after the fact on any sex assaults freeze committed?

Makes you wonder if Taco Bell money funded those escorts visiting recruits.

Tuohy's attitude reflects the Ole Miss administration's and most of their fans attitude. Many knew of Bucky's adulterous affairs and said nothing. As long as the top rated recruits were coming in and they were beating Alabama, they were willing to keep their heads in the sand and perpetuate the lie of his self righteous, sanctimonious persona. This house bulit on sand is rapidly crumbling and the whole world is watching.

This to a T!! Head in the sand more like head up his ass. We are talking about the guy who pushed a bullshit movie to make himself look like a saint right? Same guy right? Seems like that head is permanently stuck up that ass err sand.
