Freeze's character explains OM's disastrous NCAA response

We've been shaking our heads for two years now at the manner OM has handled this thing.

Now that there is no doubt that Freeze is a fundamentally dishonest charlatan, it all makes more sense.

Freeze is a liar, a notoriously thin-skinned one at that. His reflex is to lie. Just get a lie out there and steer clear of the truth at all cost.

He immediately lied about Lindsey Miller abusing Tunsil's mother and got himself sued.

He lied about Houston Nutt being the focus of the NOA and got OM sued.

He lied about misdialing a prostitute. (What are the chances of dialling a Detroit number for an escort service linked to the Florida town you happen to be in at the time? Zero. None. Nada. Also, most misdials are followed by another attempt to get it right...there was none on Freeze's phone record.)

Think about this: Houston Nutt originally only asked for an apology for Freeze's lies about him. Freeze and OM refused, even though they had already secured their signing class and had nothing to gain by blaming Nutt. They still preferred the lie.

The two figures who you would hope could right the ship, Vitter and Bjork, got pulled into the lie parade too. They didn't have the will or character to do the right thing. They'll pay for it, but probably not as much as the school they work for..

The upshot is that Freeze and Bjork and Vitter have turned a dumpster fire into the Hindenburg about to crash land at Chernobyl. Only a fool would think it isn't all going to get worse. (Memphis reporters are talking to Briarcrest girls from Freeze's era... We'll see where that leads but the gloves are off, people are talking, and protecting Rev Freeze is nobody's priority any longer.)

OM's Network boys brought Freeze in to cheat. He cheated well for awhile.

Short version: UM's bourbon-soaked movers and shakers thought it would be a good idea to bring in a sociopath stooge to regain some 1960's football glory.

Congratulation OM fatcats... you sowed the wind, now reap the whirlwind.

It doesn't stop there. The entire fan base lies. They think it's normal and try to justify it by suggesting that's the way the game is played. Yancy, Chuck, Neal, that terrible guy at 247, those kids who work for scout and rivals that aspire to be the next Yancy... they ALL LIE. Then, their fan base, knowing they were just lied to, turns around and tells the same lie about 1,000 times over.

The culture definitely corrupted a good fraction of the fanbase, not to mention way too many media stooges like Barrett Sallee and Chris Low and Kellenberger.

Lots of otherwise decent Ole Miss fans got taken in by Freeze. Gullibility is not one of the seven deadly sins, so we can probably cut them some slack.

Those morons at Nafoom, on the other hand, are pathological. They deserve every moment of the pain and misery they are about to experience.

I know all the Bears are "hoping" the NCAA takes it easier now, but I think this makes it worse. I mean, their whole case on arguing LOIC is that Freeze knew his program and made sure everything was done right. The dude bought hookers. Their whole response is now a blatant lie(which we know was before any of this). I don't see how they get off with any less than a 3 year bowl ban and 10-12 schollies for 4 years. If more does come out it could be way worse.

How did OM fans & media get this way?

It's not like they have won all that much in the past, so how did this happen?

How did they become the fan base, admin, & media that lies about everything?

There was obviously a fork in the road at some point in their existence & they decided to take the less traveled path &, as Jerry Seinfeld says, "Sometimes the road less traveled is less traveled for a reason." What was the fork?

We are closer to the 2060's than the 1960's now, and not heading back. They just can't understand that. We are at the right place, with the right team. It just eats them up, and it's about time they get a little 'attitude adjustment'.

Archie is the head of the Network. It's very obvious now. This was all a charade from day one.

But, but, but bobounds told us, on-air Thursday night, that Archie didn't know Freeze. Said Archie just some old guy they used to put his name on the committee.

I've said since before last season ended that they will get the DP. At this point I would be surprised if the NCAA is considering anything less. I do not expect the University of Mississippi to field a football team in 2019.
