Throwing some baby backs, Country Pleasing smoked sauasage, and some hotdogs on the grill this afternoon although I could probably cook them just as fast setting them on my patio. Bud Light the beverage of choice.

I scored a bottle of 120 proof knob creek yesterday - "The Old Man". . .aged 12 yrs 10 mos. I plan on sniffing the cork and passing out until sometime early Tuesday. I suspect to see pics of Freeze in full drag here when I wake up.

Stone ground bacon-sirloin burgers with chorizo, jalape?o cheddar, & buffalo chicken sausage apps. That'll get the afternoon started.

Tuna with a Zima seems appropriate.

I may drive to Tampa and pick up some Cigar City Jai Alai. Does anyone know of anything else to do in Tampa for fun?

Picking up a Boston Butt from Southern Soul - named Southern Living Magazine's "South's Best BBQ 2017" (kid's band sold them for a fundraiser).
Going to do some twice baked potatoes and baked beans. Wash it down with some Andy Gator, then sip on some Bulleit and enjoy the ocean breeze after a brutally hot day.

No plans right now outside of planning to look at some breast and thighs later. Chicken that is. The the 1-800-dial-a-date variety.

Tonight we're going out to one of our favorite byob Italian joints, at which we'll share a nice bottle of wine. I'm waiting on the boss to get home, so I'm pre-gaming it a bit with a perfect Hendricks martini.

Mrs I seen it made some spicy tuna from the #1 ahi we got today. Made tuna stack with rice, avocado, spicy tuna, homemade eel sauce and spicy mayo, fake crab salad. Also just cut some tuna for sashimi. Made a tuna poke bowl too. Gonna make some sushi rolls tomorrow night.

Nice! I could eat my weight in sushi grade tuna. I'm glad to see you're showing appropriate reverence for the ingredient, lol. Post pics of your sushi tomorrow, please.

I just cracked open the new small batch Rabbit Hole Bourbon that just went interstate about 6 months ago. I'm here to tell it is a smooth sherry cask finished Bourbon that you guys will love. It's about $75 a bottle and I highly recommend. For dinner we went to Bacchus Madison and I had the Cajun marinated ribeye. It did not meet expectation from a flavor standpoint. Meat was cooked well but flavor was not what was advertised. All others loved their meal.

Anyway, I slept really well last night and will again tonight because of more info I am hearing, and the Rabbit Hole!

Yeah my butcher gets it every 4-6 weeks. It's so damn good. A little sesame oil and sriracha with some green onion and I could eat it for days. Slip in a little eel sauce to add a touch of sweet.

Chops and chicken tonight, nothing special on the beverage front. Headed down to Starkvegas tomorrow night for a dinner out with our son. He is in summer school off a spring co-op. His choice of venue. He says he wants to try something new, but hasn't revealed what yet. Looking forward to it.

Hell Beast, make it a trust! This needs to keep on, I like this thread for new ideas on cooking. It also gives everybody a insight into the personal side of our MSU brothers on Elite Dawg.
