Sheesh. Mullen high jacked a rainbow & crashed into a pot of gold here.

After trying to leave MSU multiple times over the past 8 years, he suddenly wakes up going into his 9th year at MSU & realizes:

- His in-state rival, who's presence, has ultimately limited MSU, has now self imploded & most likely won't be relevant on the field or on the recruiting trail for the next 5 years.

- After 8 years at MSU, he has built a solid foundation, culture, & developed a credibility in the industry that offers him the validity to jump at this opportunity.

- He just developed the NFL Offensive Rookie of Year & face of the most valuable sports franchise on the planet from a 3 star recruit to potentially football's version of Michael Jordan.

- The Dallas Cowboys just produced a 45 minute documentary that is basically the best recruiting tool that has ever been given to MSU. The entire thing is a 45 minute validation of Mullen's recruiting, coaching, & culture of family within the program.

- Due to the above, MSU can now recruit the best QBs in the country.

- His current recruiting class is in the top 25.

- The 2019 class in the state of Mississippi is rumored to be among the best we've ever seen.

Point is, no matter what the history of MSU program is, the limitations of the program that are due to a small state population & having another SEC in-state are, etc.... in the next 5 years, Mullen has a chance to coach & legally build a powerhouse. We'll be pretty good this year, but 2018-2023 could be unbelievable.

All that Mullen has been building for 8 years has offered him the credibility, culture, & foundation to absolutely pounce on this situation.
