The Spirit seems to be in good spirits now.
Chuck has given them some good news of some sort and this whole freeze thing is now a good thing. Amazing.

Every staff member is fine with what is going on, considering. Of course they care for Freeze and hope he is OK in the long haul, but they respect and enjoy working with Matt Luke as well. The ringleader of optimism moving forward? Wesley McGriff.
After player meetings with their position coaches, I was told things went "better than expected" with the players. As of right now, no defections and the team is ready to get to work.

I guess they'll really lose their shit when they find out Their QB is already working the phones.

What benefit would the players have of telling their current coaches "I'm out of here" to their face?
I guarantee you that they are all in wait and see mode right now. And waiting to see if they can transfer without having to sit out a year.

The Spirit is a "Special" kind of stupid. And by "special", I mean retarded
Not only did Mississippi State embarrass LSU on this night. Davis Wade Stadium wrecked Tiger Stadium in music choice, atmosphere and, most of all, volume.
When I'm 80 and deaf, it's not going to be all those Springsteen concerts or Queen at Municipal Auditorium in New Orleans on Halloween Night in 1978, it will be this game...............Glen Guilbeau--Sherveport Times

So if the coaches and players are all fine right now, they must not have thought much of Freeze to begin with?
I guess that can be the party line for Ole Miss now that he's gone.

To them Freeze just happened to be the guy that orchestrated paying them money.
