    Cowboys Documentary on Dak

Just finished watching the Cowboys documentary on Dak & it is probably the greatest recruiting tool we've ever been given. This documentary should be standard protocol for recruiting weekends & played on the video board at Davis Wade during recruiting visits.

The documentary provides credibility to the Mullen/Hevesy style of recruiting & provides a perfect example to prospects about the benefits of our program.

The documentary got me thinking about when I knew Dak could the face of an NFL Franchise, & for me it was the Dawg Walk before the 11:30 game vs Texas A&M in 2014. We had just beaten LSU the week before, & Dak was thrust into the Heisman race. That morning at approximately 9:30 AM, Dak strolled through the Junction with his bow tie on, & looked like an absolute super star. He was calm, collected, & had a presence that I've rarely if ever seen from an athlete. He owned it, & at that point I knew the moment & pressure was not too big for him.

THIS is how you build a football program. Great programs are not built of schemes, fraud, money, & shortcuts. Good food & credibility take time, but, when done correctly, they last a long time.
