    I hate bailing hay...

But I'm glad I did it, in lieu of watching Hugh Freeze, today....

Especially after reading this article from Cecil Hurt...

I love bailing hay. As long as the damn baler doesn't screw up. I like cutting hay too. Raking not so much cause I sucked at it. I understand todays rakes are much simpler. I last baled in the late 80's
Not only did Mississippi State embarrass LSU on this night. Davis Wade Stadium wrecked Tiger Stadium in music choice, atmosphere and, most of all, volume.

Beyond the actual final report, when the NCAA gets to give its version of events and some decidedly unlovely parting gifts, the facts are these: There is not going to be some miraculous ending to this saga for Ole Miss where the NCAA says, “This was all Mississippi State’s fault!” Things are already at the point where the process itself is part of the penalty – the self-imposed sanctions, plus the effect that the “drama” has on recruiting. Ole Miss is banking heavily on the hope that it can retain Freeze, have him stay through the inevitable tough years, and go forward. That probably seems a safer risk than trying to hire a replacement. For Ole Miss, Freeze’s wins over Alabama and the 2015 Sugar Bowl trip are milestone achievements – and who could they hire to replicate them over the next 20 years?

Will that work out for Ole Miss? No one, except perhaps the NCAA, knows. Will it wrap up by this time next year? I hope so, as does everyone who doesn’t want to come back and hear Freeze read the entire Oxford phone book from cover to cover.

    BOOOM

Haha.... I learned to drive at 9 years old -- with the front seat of the truck pulled as far forward as it would go.... My toe barely touched the gas peddle.... Oh the fun days of a very simple life...... the shift was in the column for all you youngsters......

Just to make sure I have the context straight: Square bales or round? If square were you running the bailer or were you hauling?

I used to help my grandpa haul square bales. It is one lousy way to spend a Saturday, when you are a teenager, or any age.

My dad is in his mid 80's and still runs about a hundred head of cows. He still bales all his hay by himself. Thank God for round bales. We use to put up an estimated 30,000 bales each summer and feed every single bale of that hay in the winter. I am the older male sibling so I was always on a tractor doing something every day. That's where I learned to work for what I got and that was a great lesson in life for me. Mimi, I was driving at age 7.

" I don't believe any reporters were complicit with Ole Miss, although I think that some, having a head coach or athletic director as their source, gave the Rebels version more weight than it was due."

This part of the article caught my eye too. Thx to TUSK for linking, out of state perspectives seem to provide clarity to all the clutter.

ETA: Cecil was being kind to the duped reporters in his verbage here. And of course at least C Round was complicit but not sure we can include him as a professional reporter anymore.

OXFORD, Miss. (WTVA) - Ole Miss campus police ask students to behave at future baseball games following a recent incident.
The university said students were reportedly throwing rocks at Georgia baseball players during last weekend's series.
