    Straton Karatassos

    Found out today that Strat has retired. One of the really good ones....hate to see him go, but wish him nothing but the best. Now I know I am really old. First Molly passed away, then there was Wesley (hope he is still around). Now Strat has retired. Looks like it is getting close to the time for me to retire from MSU as well. Now you younger ones can take up the slack and the $$$. What say ye shannondog?

    Strat was the head trainer when I played, and has always been a close friend.

    Ole Strat was the head trainer for baseball when I went to camp the 1st time in '79
    Not only did Mississippi State embarrass LSU on this night. Davis Wade Stadium wrecked Tiger Stadium in music choice, atmosphere and, most of all, volume.

    I called the Bulldog Club and was told it was the end of May. Said she thought he might be on a trip. I sent him a text but have not had any response.

    Retired end of last month. Went by BD Club last week to check on him and he was gone on a trip. He was the last of the great ones. Wesley, Kermit, Molly, and Strat always had time for their friends. Think of all the changes that group witnessed at MSU. Hail State!
