Chops, asparagus, and a few of my usual craft beers tonight, nothing special. Better stuff in the works for Saturday, but nothing finalized yet.

We went out to dinner. Tonight I'm drinking Glenlivit Nadura while watching the game.

I'll have what our team is having tonight. Cyanide with a side order of arsenic. Hemlock tea to wash it down.

Deer poppers, backstrap steaks, boudin, sausage, squash & zucchini. Dogfish 90'. Watching the Bad News Bears is making me drink much faster.

I'd save the good stuff for a better game! Then again we are talking about baseball so it doesn't matter to me really. I have had some decent beer: Jack the Sipper, Monkeynaught, and Centennial IPA from Founders. I might top it off with some Scotch, but it will be Dewar's White Label (my standard not good stuff), not the good stuff. I'm getting low on the good stuff. I've made it last till June (Christmas gifts from my wonderful wife as usual) but I doubt it sees July. Hopefully I get to taste some of the BEST at it's point of origin on Islay in August. The itinerary isn't set in stone but it should include at least one or two distilleries (HOPEFULLY more) on the east coast of Islay.

Had to take a car for service at a dealer in Jacksonville, so the W Girl and I made a side trip to St. Augustine for the day. Had lunch at Harry's, a Cajun place down on Menendez just up from the Bridge of Lions. She had shrimp and chicken pasta, I had a shrimp and crawfish poboy and red beans and rice washed down with a Bulliet Sazerac. Good eats

Biggest steaks I have ever cooked, cowboy ribeyes, plus salmon, corn, purple hull peas, potatoes, and Tuscan bread. Stag's Leap Merlot, Founder's IPA, a good Germen dubble I can't spell, and good scotch to be determined. It was fantastic, but what went on in London..........................well.

Smoked several wings and thighs on the new electric smoker. Grilled about an inch-and-a-half ribeye on charcoal and some Smirnoff and cranberry juice to wash it down. Smirnoff's cheep, I know, but it ain't bad. And it gets the job done.

That would be the Ruth chris dipping trio. The left one is mushroom something, pretty good. Middle is something Asian tasting, wife likes that one. The one on right is truffle butter and what I use. We let ole Ruth cook for us tonight. Was damn good.
