Hearing it's official, Kegler has been granted released from program.
Sucks that he's listening to this Ohmar cat. Sounds like a real pos.

If he isn't satisfied starting at the position he wants to play at and playing for a team on the cusp of doing great things then **** him. The grass isn't always greener and we will be better off without him.

Yeah you don't want to keep someone who doesn't want to be there. Still sucks.

See Eli Wright thread if you think I am letting Howland get away with continuing to recruit AAU babies

Also, Howland never met with Kegler. He met with Omhar Carter yesterday. What a shitty asshole Kegler is but it's pretty easy to see who controls Kegler.

Hope he told Ohmar to never step foot on this campus again

Is it kind of like Horatio telling Howland that Malik was going to run point? We will be better off without someone sulking that they are playing the position they think will get them to the NBA. News flash, if you are good enough to play a position in the NBA then you are probably going to play it in college.

This might end up best for everyone. If he stayed it was probably going to go south quickly if things didn't go the way they wanted and it would become a locker room issue. If he goes somewhere further away maybe it will give him a buffer from Carter and if things turn out the same way he'll realize what the issue is.
Now I'll be very curious as to where he lands, b/c this continues a trend from his HS days so some coaches might be a little hesitant.
I'm going to be very intrigued to see how the Newman and Kegler sagas plays out over time. My gut says neither will be like Osby or Hood.

Did he pay much last year?
Can't remember him contributing much.

Women's basketball not MSU women's basketball

We have plenty of talent. See ya Mario, carry your ass on down the road. All it means I'd more minutes for someone that wants to play for MSU. X and Holman will benefit, what's wrong with that?

Wasn't he the guy that fouled out in almost every game he played?

And horrible shot selection with a basketball IQ of 3. I will say he did get better at dropping his hips and moving his feet on defense.
