I wish I had stories like I do with my granddad and his brothers.
However, I do have my Great-Grandfather's WWI helmet and some letters he wrote home from France. Nothing really interesting other than he was missing my great-grandmother and his daughter (his first child, who is now 98). When my dad was a kid, his gas mask was still around. His uncles (sons of the WWI vet), used scare him with it.
