There's 2 ways to look at it....

1. We CANNOT afford to fall into the losers bracket

2. If we can beat USA without pitching Pilk, we are in great shape to win the Regional

I say, this season is a gift anyway, so don't play it safe...pitch Cole or Plumlee in game 1 and play to win this damn thing by saving Pilk. If we had a deep staff and lofty expectations I might think differently, but screw it...let's play to win it

Southern is going to do their best to make sure there is no maroon in their stands, especially if we're playing them. I'm an hour away and I'm going to call in a few favors but I still don't expect to get tickets. I may go stand in the parking lot and ring my cowbell just to piss them off.
