He has a MAJOR confidence problem and he can't pull the trigger. I've been there and I feel bad for him. Also, has everyone gotten an AB but Bragg? He must really be in the doghouse.

they wasted their closer striking out the worst hitters in The SEC. The manger could have got those three out.

we have had the bases loaded 3 times today with Poole and he has zero to show. wish he had struck out every time.

Yep, try a squeeze every time so at least maybe Poole can beat it out and not hit into a DP. At this point I am surprised when he even puts the ball in play.

In Canny's defense, he probably didn't think our entire bullpen would just give up 11 runs in one inning.

Only thing Canny did wrong today was let Gordon go out for the top of the eighth. At some point your players have to do their ****ing job.

I can't say that was wrong. 7-8-9 were coming up and Gordon's pitch count was low. I really have no problem with him facing 1 batter and seeing what happens. Unfortunately that dude got a hit, we pulled Gordon and 11 runs later, we are all pissed off. It sucks, but we weren't winning this tournament. If we somehow beat Arkansas later today, we may have to forfeit tomorrow due to lack of arms.

We also wouldn't host even if we won the tourney, so it's pretty moot. Would have been nice to hang a banner though. Honestly, this team just needs to go home and get ready for the regionals. Continuing to stretch out our thin pitching for an unattainable goal (hosting) is something we could pay dearly for when the games that matter begin. That's exactly what happened to us in 2012 when we had an almost identical SEC record and resume heading into Hoover.

Alexander will help finish us off

Alexander and Poole couldn't hit water if they fell out of a boat.

They wouldn't have been able to find the boat in the first place.

That last ball wasn't a strike. This ump has been inconsistent the whole game regardless of what shit head KP has said.
