If we have any aspirations of winning a Regional, you have to consider letting Self start I'm afraid. I know he hasn't done it, and I'm not saying we should...I'm simply saying that we literally have zero chance at winning more than 1 game going forward. Our luck at pitching ended 3-4 weeks ago, and it ain't coming back. It's start Self or accept that we're done.

I guess we could start McQ vs the 3 seed and just hope we get lucky and have Pilk vs the 1 seed...but I'm afraid we're through regardless. ****ing Wes Johnson

Nah, I'm not suggesting we start Self...I'm just saying that may be the only way we pull off a second win anywhere. At this point I'd rather see Parker Ford start tonight's game, to see if he can repeat his recent outings and provide a serviceable 2nd or 3rd starter for Regionals. Pitching Billingsley at this point is like fishing in a puddle...it's pointless
