Congrats to a fine young man, who is an excellent role model, both on and off the field. #HAILSTATE

If he didn't win this award the Ferriss family would need to request Boo's name be removed from it. That being said, congratulations to Brent for every accolade. He deserves all of them.

Congrats to Rooker! I was fortunate enough to be at his three home run game against Kentucky which was awesome. I'll also never forget the home run in the Governor's Cup. Half the stadium- the Ole Miss side just went "OH!" and our side just stood up and went nuts. Pretty awesome moment.

It says something when you have the best hitting season in MSU history. It isn't like we don't have Buck Showalter, Palmeiro, Clark, Renfroe, and a bunch of other guys setting a really high standard. I could see Rooker being on a MLB roster within 2 years. I really hope the Braves get him and put him in LF.

The one he hit foul the pitch before the homerun was more impressive, that pitch was absolutely destroyed.

Wow! Who was the last MSU player to win SEC player of Year? This is Frank Thomas and Will Clark territory, what an honor
