Bottom line is we don't have but maybe 3 or 4 high level D1 hitters on this team. We're pieced together pretty much like a MS juco all star team playing in the best baseball conference in the land. All this will hopefully change in the coming years.

Yes, amazing what we did earlier in the year with this lineup but we just have too many guys that aren't SEC caliber hitters and they are being exposed. We now have 2 runs in our last 25 innings against SEC pitching. Having guys like Poole and Lovelady come up in key situations is not normally going to work well for you against top level SEC pitching.
Not sure why macnamee wasn't used in one of those situations

First sec game of the year... ark won 3-1. Gridley got a first inning hr in that game also. Think this series will turn out the same way.

If we lose this game tonight which is most likely happening it's all on missed opportunities and poor hitting. The plate discipline has been pretty terrible tonight

And we have them all hitting together for maximum impact.

Lovelady has an absolutely awful AB to end 7th and his pass ball is gonna cost us any chance in this game.

That might have cost us the game pitching Plumlee in the eighth. Let's just shelve our best pitchers when the game is on the line.

I still don't understand not going to Self or Price in the eighth. You are only down one. That asshole will keep Plumlee in for the ninth as well and has already chalked this up as a loss.
