Just buy a window one and put it in your window. it will work in Starkville surely. I'm much farther from the local towers than Starkville is and mine works fine. That being said I only use it when Directv is out.

There's no one in NMS that installs. Liability is too much.

For ppl out in the country, an inside antenna is not an option.

Get a Mohu Leaf. I use one in rural Yazoo County, and it works great for me. It's flat, and you can mount it anywhere

When Directv and Channel 9 were having their spat, I bought an indoor antenna and it worked fine, only thing it didn't pick up Channel 9, but all the other nets works fine, and a bunch of stations that I never knew existed.

Their spat ended before I could get the answer as to why all the other channels except were air channels.

The Mohu Leaf only has a range of 20 miles for VHF, which is what WTVA is. The mileage from Starkville to Woodland is more that that. WTVA is the channel I most want. UHF is about 50 miles, so I read.

The one I have has a range of 50 miles, but they have ones with larger ranges as well

I was always lead to believe that WTVA,WCBI and WLOV all used the same antenna that is out in western Clay Co in the Kilgore hills.

Incidentally the Kilgore hills provided the dirt for highway 45 original construction.
