Talk about systematic cheating... After he resigned, he stayed with his wife (amazingly), did counseling, and rediscovered himself over a few years. He now preachers at another church in the area.

I'm with Shotgun. I think Freeze deep down is a good man who is very conflicted with how to win and please OM boosters while maintaining a strong faith. As a MSU fan, I hope he gets buried, and OM's program gets buried. And when that happens, I hope he'll spend time reflecting on what went wrong and rediscover himself like my former preacher. Additionally, I hope he realizes that God's Will has nothing to do with winning football games and NCAA investigations are not real 'trials and tribulations'...
Freeze is the preacher screwing the children's minister at every church he preaches at. It's not a one time thing. There are plenty of stories about him when he was at Briarcrest. He's using the good ole boy, aw shucks country preacher act to create someone that he is truly not.

Is Freeze a good man? HELL NO!

I'm shocked your former philandering preacher had the tenacity to stay in the ministry and another church agreed to have him lead their flock. After 7 (SEVEN) years of adultery in addition to bamboozling the "elders" of the church to terminate everyone else in the church so that his adultery could continue unimpeded for years on end, I wonder how another congregation was willing accept him?

A man can ask for forgiveness, seek and accept counseling and rediscover themselves and at the same time find a profession where they aren't tasked with preaching, teaching and mentoring others down the path of the straight and narrow.

    My issue is....
    When a recruit TOLD ME....
That he was given an escort for the weekend that would do what ever he wanted and was at his beckon call.... Also "named called" as to what coach told him this.....

That is ILLEGAL in Mississippi... prostitutes and whore houses are age 21 and over....... bringing prostitutes across the state line in another issue. Who PAID these women??? Which booster was supplying the money to the coach? Most of these students are 17 and 18 years old.... Do NOT tell me Freeze had no idea this was happening UNDER his watch..... To think he has daughters...
I cannot stand to look at him. I have TRIED to be an example for these young men.... Putting morals, ethics and my Christian beliefs above all else and here we have coaches, boosters, businesses that are ALL involved in ILLEGAL activities.... Many recruiters have encouraged the parents to "SELL their child's soul to hell (OM) and now they have been paid for".... Think about it.... With all the "rumors" and what was actually told to the NCAA... there is no doubt that Freeze and the rest of them need to be severed from EVER coaching again.... This mess MUST stop....

Very doubtful. But he can certainly throw one at recruits. A nasty 55 foot breaking ball in the dirt that has them swinging and missing badly.

Jesus may be able to hit a curve, but he still wouldn't have a prayer to play on special teams under MDL....

Wait, which Bible verse is that?

David had a man killed so he could sleep with a pretty naked woman he saw bathing on the rooftops. Did God remove him from his position? Look it took along time for me and my family to forgive the preacher. He hurt us and a lot of other people. But there is nowhere in the New Testament that says to give up ministering to others. Paul killed tons of Christians for years, and God decided to use him...

Hugh has a thorn in his flesh for five star LTs, WRs, and DEs but Archie's grace is sufficient!

I figured it out. Hugh is dead to the Law of the NCAA (remember his funeral) and now he lives by faith in himself and the grace of Archie.

Hugh is just waiting for the show clause to come down and then will get baptized with all those sins washed away.

I believe he is a "Baptist" so the baptism isn't necessary.
