No, I get it. I believe we have a better baseball program. And like I said, the post was great. It just struck me as odd that you said we shouldn't compare ourselves to them, supposedly because we're clearly surpassing them, then compared us to them and it actually wasn't that big a gap.

The point was to simply show why we shouldn't compare ourselves to them. To do that I decided to use facts to back that up even though that may have made the point ironic. The only way to hammer that point home was to compare.

I also know that some of our readers are going to encounter Ole Miss fans that are going to lie and brag about how good they are and how much better they are in baseball. I've provided some of our fans some facts to show them why that's wrong and why it's silly to say things like "I wish we were more like Ole Miss in baseball." I literally see it every year and it doesn't make sense to me. To do that I had to compare and show why it's not right and to knock Ole Miss down a peg where they belong when they lie and brag. It's a public service of EliteDawgs.

Plus me just saying "we're better" to me is blind homerism. I like try to back things up.
