Do they just go out and hire the coach or family member of the player they are after???

Been arrested for shop lifting when he was a player there. If I'm not mistaken
he was caught stealing CD's out of a store somewhere. Guess it wasn't in Oxford. They'd just told him to get what he wanted.

Apparently it was a cassette, not a CD

Ole Miss recently signed Lockhart’s top player off this season’s JCJC team, forward Bruce Stephens.

Basketball is going to be their sport for a while so they are doing what they have too to win.

When does the new NCAA rule banning that practice go into effect?

The only stuff I've read about this new rule pertained to football, not sure about other sports.

I think the new rule just applies to football.

There was already a rule in place about basketball. However, I don't think the rule applies to full assistants. Because they are so limited, coaches rarely play around with those positions anymore. Basketball only has three assistants, for example. The rules prevent things like hiring Shea Patterson's brother to an off field position because teams can create as many of those as they want and pay them what even they want.

I think the rule only applies to non coaching jobs.
