Jalen mayden

Crystal ball picks are coming up big time for us with him. Apparently, he's gonna be our qb for the '18 class. Anyone seen him play or have some insight to his ability?
I know there's a recruiting thread, but I felt with the steam of him to state and him being a qb warranted its own thread

He's very similar to Jalen Hurts only a left-handed version.

Looks like a prototypical Mullen QB, runs really well

Looks like a stud. Is it just me, or is there a small list of great left handed QB's? Hopefully this guy can change that.
Steve Young
Mike Vick (?)
Brunell(?)
Who else? I'm sure I'm forgetting some great lefty's

Really good college QB's are Pat White, Matt Leinart, David Greene, & Jared Lorenzen are a few.

Coach Bryant always said you can never trust a left handed crap shooter, or a left handed QB
Not only did Mississippi State embarrass LSU on this night. Davis Wade Stadium wrecked Tiger Stadium in music choice, atmosphere and, most of all, volume.

Vick, tebow, Steve young... this kid has vick's arm strength and speed. Has Tebow's leadership and power running. He has young's accuracy and elusiveness. Hall of fame on deck**

Also about left handed QBs... seems they're all above avg runners

He looks great in that offense. What jumped out to me is the offense his team ran. I don't keep up with Miss. high school football that closely. I know enough to know there are no complicated passing attacks like that. Is there a defense in Ms. that could stop a passing attack like that?

Starkville will run one of the best passing games in MS this coming season. If you think teams in MS dont air it out you are wrong. And yes there are teams who could stop them

Mullen and Dak have changed the game. Pulling guys like Keytaon Thompson and Jalen Mayden is incredible. Doing it in back-to-back classes is a complete game-changer for the program.

Yep! With all the crap we give Mullen on other positions (most of the time warranted) at the end of the day we will win more games than we lose as long as we keep a good QB and a good defense. Eventually WRs will want to play here because of the QB. Maybe OL will do the same. All I know is that the days of avg QBs is over. You can't win that way anymore.
Death penalty or bust!!!***

Could mayden pull a WR here from the state of TX?

Wow. He would be quite a catch. Keep getting these quality QB's and hopefully improve OL recruiting.....we could really have some fun.
