    SEC-stats at the halfway point

    Some good, bad, and ugly

    Hitting:

    Rooker- .415...21 RBI's in 15 games
    MacNamee- .390
Brown- .365...average is great but striking out a tad much
    Magnum- .344...broke hand an all
    Gridley- .322
    Bragg- .308 (limited AB's)
    Stovall- .304

Lovelady- .225 (doesn't strike out much but weak contact)
    Vansau- .200 (limited AB's)
    Poole- .184....16 K's
    Alexander- .154...17 K's and 1 RBI in 15 games

7 guys over .300 is pretty good
2nd in the SEC in average
    3rd in Slugging
    4th in K's
    5th in OBP
    6th in runs scored
    LAST in Walks

Alexander's BB rate going down is frustrating to me. Last year he walked 11 times in 81 PAs, which is 13.6%. This year he's walked 15 times in 163 PAs, which is 9.2%.

    '16 k rate = 24.7%
    '17 k rate = 24.5%

Which he would be more selective at the plate and get his BB rate back up and still maintain his increased slugging %

Under Cohen seemed like we were always up there in walks. Guessing it's a different approach with Can.

Or it's just a result of turnover and so many new hitters

Where are we in hit bats man? It just seems our batter don't get hit by the ball like they use to.

Spencer Price is leading the league in average.***
