Just went to Rebs website.
Wanted to see what the score was to their game.
The headline was: "Rebels almost win series in Baton Rouge but fall 3-2 to LSU."
-
Yeah. Unfortunately for them this is baseball and not a hand grenade throwing contest.
They had I think the tying run on second base with two outs in the 9th and they hit a ball that looked like it was a single into RF which either would have tied the game or resulted in a play at the plate except the LSU second baseman robbed the guy of a hit with a really good play.

That baseball?

That's a bunch of sad sacks over there.

They have lost some heartbreaker Sunday games.

They have had their share of luck too. They actually won a game against USM on a wild pitch during an intentional walk. They've also had several walk-off wins as well.

I just looked at schedules and those cheating rascals have a tough road coming home. They could easily miss the NCAA's.

Lately they have been projected as one of the last teams out of the Regionals and they have a really bad loss to Georgia State. Their sweep over East Carolina was propping their RPI up early but they're down to 86 and are only one game over .500 making it not as impressive as first thought. Unless they get really hot they'll probably be on the bubble. My guess based on the fact that they have three road series in the SEC, the fact that we're the only OOC team that they have left that could help their RPI, and I don't think they will sweep Mizzou or A&M at home I think they probably will get left out unless they win the SEC Tournament. and get the automatic bid.
I'm 100% sure that Anon Rebel guy is counting those wins over ECU among their alleged 25 ranked teams.

Their other headline probably stated that Spencer Price almost blew the save in the MSU-SC game. Their writers are probably taking lessons from Hugh "Dak almost threw an interception" Kellenburger.

Ole Miss went to LSU for a sporting event and Ole Miss came in second, while LSU was next to last.**

Doesn't Kellum call the baseball games, too?
I can hear him now...
"Deep Blast by the Rebel batter!!... it's a towering shot! It may go!!!! Caught by the Catcher at the backstop for the last out in the game. Rebels lose a nailbiter 15-3..."
"It is not courage to resist TUSK; It is courage to accept TUSK."
No.
Easy there buddy. Tusk is...well Tusk is Tusk. Tireddawg 12.20.17
