Gordon isn't a SEC quality pitcher but with our depth we don't have much choice.

I'd swap Lovelady and Poole but not bad. I'd start Bragg at 3B too, but not a bad lineup

Bragg should be at DH not 3rd.

Yea, sure is nice to have Stovall as a second leadoff guy for when LA strikes out to end the innings though.*

Stovall should be in the 6 hole but it's not that big a deal.

    Lol

I do think it's ridiculous we get Alexander, lovelady, Poole, etc more ABs than Stovall

True, but how good is Stovall's avg if he isn't ahead of Mangum & Rooker? Who knows, but that has to be nice

As much as I'd like to see Bragg get a shot at 3B....I trust Cann, and he clearly doesn't think we have a serviceable option behind LA. Otherwise we'd have seen somebody else...he likes offense too much. So I'm just going to hope LA gets it going today at the plate

Cann is not going to make a move until the offense starts costing us games. Rooker has been carrying this team so far- and as long as we keep producing decent offense he wont sit Belmont. I'd prefer a more proactice approach- getting Bragg more AB's before nut-cutting time gets here in May

It is bush league when the rule to not run over the catcher is there to protect HIM, then he acts like an ass.

So they were saying Grid was out on a stupid ass base running call, then the Catcher was blocking the plate so he is safe, then reversed it and said he wasnt and he was actually out???

I'm not sure if they ever officially reversed the original call. They called him out, then they conferenced for a while, and the announcers said he was safe and the score was changed...then they reviewed it and confirmed he was out.

The catcher was blocking the plate, but I guess they said he was doing so in the act of catching the ball. Regardless of the result, it was dumb to send Gridley.

I'm going to have to turn down the sound on this game because "Gomer" or whoever the SC analyst is assisting is terrible.
