    Go to https://postimage.io/ Upload photo...several links will pop up. Choose the direct link, copy it. Then come back to ED... click on the picture icon in the reply box... paste link.

    Close that's for a video. which can be more complicated because you can't use the youtube share link. you have to use the full url.
    They are looking for the PICTURE icon NOT the FILM icon.

    Got photos and gifs down pat - still can't figure out how to embed a tweet? Is it just easier to Screenshot it and upload as a photo?

    Yes. or just copy and paste it and post the link to the original tweet.
    If you copy and paste it, at least on desktop it should copy the format and all .
