Lady CiCi say
"Hugh Freeze will be here as the Ole Miss Rebel football coach."
Vamp say
"The LOIC will most likely be dropped. Either way Hugh will be our coach next fall. We came to terms about penalties and likelihood with NCAA people before we self imposed the 1 yr bowl ban."
Dudedue say
"They hate him because he was recruits too good for a school that haven't been a national power for a while. After the 2013 class a lot of people were saying the rebels had to be cheating and called on the NCAA to do something. The NCAA were already on campus and took up the challenge. However after two years they haven't come up with much and were about to wrap up when the Tunsil fight occurred and the stepdad went running to the NCAA."

They ain't dropping the LOIC. When half of your staff is named in the NOA, it's hard to argue against LOIC.

I'll never understand why we feel the need to keep reading and sharing what these dumbasses say.

After years of hearing OM fans claim that they were recruiting cleanly, and pulling all these big time recruits because Freeze was such a godly man, why would you not enjoy watching them melt/rationalize the irrational when the truth has finally begun to leak? Ole Miss loves to now claim that we care more about their football team than they do. They are starting to fall back on their one and only valid talking point, they just really don't care that much.
If there is anything that Ole Miss truly cares about, it's their national image. They are dying inside as their national image is shifting from suspected cheaters to the biggest cheaters in college athletics, and it is glorious.
I laughed when reading an OM guy on the rant try to rationalize how their 2013 class was not suspicious. He said:
"Every major program who has had a turnaround has had a big splash instantly. Clemson has had similar results. Sabah at LSU and BAMA had a quick impact, as did Stoops at OU etc etc."
This may be funny to any rational college football fan, but this is the honest opinion of every OM fan. They consider themselves a "major" program, who can make similiar instant "big splashes" as schools like LSU, Bama, Clemson and Oklahoma.
They say, "this is all the NCAA has found after 5 years of investigating?" without asking themselves, why is the NCAA still investigating after 5 years? Why did the athletic department allow violations severe enough to warrant a LOIC after being investigated for 5 years?
They also say, "there is a major leak problem in Indianapolis, and it needs to be addressed and is simply unfair" without realizing that if they weren't blatantly cheating there wouldn't be anything to leak, and if they hadn't downplayed the NCAA investigation at every turn, the NCAA wouldn't be forced to leak the truth so that prospective student athletes can be accurately warned.
They are past the denial stage, and they are in all out deflect mode, and who better to blame than MSU? They truly believe it's our fault when we had absolutely nothing to do with the academic fraud, loaning multiple cars to Tunsil with a blind eye from the administration, allowing a booster to commit over 30 sub violations, allowing 5 coaches to be involved with boosters and impermissible benefits to recruits, allowing 3 former coaches to lie to the NCAA staff, or allowing their administration to lack institutional control.
The one thing they had, "the tape", is now disproven, they have nothing to cling to now and will start turning on each other. Barney already has, who's next?
Enjoy every 17ing second of this, because it is not often that your in state rival is the center of the biggest football recruiting scandal this century. Especially when they not only have been denying wrongdoing, but crediting their recruiting and thus football success to a favor from God himself.

You nailed it. Period.
If this was happening to MSU- of course I doubt it would ever get this deep to start with- we would be pissed off at whoever our football coach was- "was" as in we would have fired him long before it ever got this deep rather than try to protect him- and would be outraged at everyone from the University President on down. We would be totally embarrassed and rightfully so. You would have fans and major donors telling MSU to stop trying to fight and to start complying because fighting is only digging the hole deeper. I don't see ANYONE involved at Ole Miss doing any of that right now.
I don't know if they will get it or not- but they certainly deserve the death penalty.

You forgot the fact that after all this cheating and spending millions on pay to play, they have nothing to show for it. Not even a trip to the SEC Championship. Must really suck to be a booster who wasted all that money on a bunch of addicts.

What's really going to suck for them is when they realize that they paid that much for 10 years of darkness for a Sugar Bowl win- which included a loss to Memphis.

"It's not LOIC. It's only impermissible benefits spanning numerous sports and two separate coaching tenures. Not LOIC at all." See how that doesn't really work? As far as this tape goes, there is zero to it, as has already been pointed out. The NCAA laughed in their face when they brought that up. But please tell recruits that you're happy to record them without their knowledge so you can black mail them into signing with you later or turn them in when they don't. That's totally gonna work.....

And even if that were all there is to it....so that makes you less guilty...because you almost got away with less?????
All this sheit happened or it didn't you idiots. What does any part of it possibly not coming out have anything to do with whether or not it happened?
The Liberation will not be televised--- when it arrives like lightning in the skies!

I'm sorry but this is getting old. Not only are they ignoring every infraction, but they are participating in "The Program" this weekend. Which focuses on personnel ACCOUNTABILITY!
-
They should get LOIC for the 21 level one infractions in one sport in all honesty. That's crazy when you think about it.

They should get LOIC for incredible stupidity!

Oh, it's gonna kill them when Hugh is gone and those penalties come down like a mountain.
Freeze is done. His coaching career is over.
The NCAA is NOT dropping the LOIC! Hells Bell's rebs, the NCAA doesn't pass out LOICs like jr. mints at a mixer. YOU ARE F@#%ED!!!
