2nd NOA
So is there going to be a second NOA or is the amended NOA the end of the investigation? Just curious because I am kinda shocked there was nothing about the draft night in the new one.

The Three Stooges are sitting on a pile of charges they didn't release in the Cliff Notes video because they're damning. There's a lot more to the LOIC. We don't know what's in the NOA in full...yet.

Anyone have any idea of when the 2nd NOA may get leaked?

I think as long as TCUN continues to sugar-coat EVERYTHING they give the general public and their fanbase, and as long as TCUN continues to deny the severity of their actions that have allowed the LOIC charge to be levied, the NCAA will be all up in their garbage til the end of time.
For the investigation to come to a close, TCUN has to show some contrition and be willing to accept (and not fight) the charges pending imo.

The fact they're still investigating is actually, and finally really, good news for Ole Miss. They kept saying that over and over. "This is actually good news." Well, now it is. It's a pretty clear indication that they don't intend to hand down the death penalty for the existing violations, or at least the investigative side of the NCAA doesn't think so. Otherwise, there would be no return on the continued investment of furthering the investigation.

Are they trying to get Archie now? That would be a death blow for om to have to disassociate from Archie as he's made out to be Mr. Big behind the Network.

People laughed about that "2nd letter" for a while, are they laughing about the "3rd letter"? Doubt it.

I agree, but I do expect a "3rd letter" at this point.

If they are now investigating what they have done while being under investigation then the next NOA should have the death penalty in it. The current NOA is one of the worst since SMU and they will then get hit with repeat offender status. I think that is why the NCAA concluded when they did so that they could issue another NOA. The punishment is far worse for drunk driving if you get caught leaving the courthouse parking lot after getting off with probation from your previous drunk driving arrest.

3rd Letter is probably just another conspiracy by Dan Mullen. Just like the investigation of Hugh Freeze. We never knew that Dan has more power than Saban, Myer, and Harbaugh rolled into 1.

Someone refresh my memory - what was the most recently allegation that was added in this updated NOA? Given that statements were made about the lack of the Tunsil draft night stuff, I'm curious if the newly added allegations were specifically only within a less-recent time period (aka, a few recruiting classes ago). If that's true, combined with rumors/knowledge of the NCAA still investigating, might suggest the NCAA simply added what they found on old leads and feel are likely exhausted, compared to more recent information like Tunsil's draft night and the more recent recruiting classes.
All speculative, mind you, since I don't recall what years the added violations span...

During the video, it was noted that the new allegations did not include the draft night and beyond. The amendment was only up to the draft. So, there has got to be more dirt to be dug and laid out.

Is there a chance that prostitution/rape could be involved?

Is that a charge that could be included? The reason why I ask about this delicate topic is because of the indications from players that they get sexual favors from big donor daughters. If the parents are forcing their daughters to do these acts, could it not be considered rape? As much as I dislike many of the UM fans, these indications make me sick.
If I am misunderstanding any of the players admissions, please correct me.

I thought UM was just bringing hookers down from Memphis. I thought they learned their lesson that they couldn't take their recruits to Memphis to get laid so they just bus them down to Oxford.

It has been my understanding that someone, a big alum or whoever, is bringing down escorts from Memphis to facilitate the recruits on the big weekend. That's sex trafficking and a major no no. That's a felony with serious prison time.

I think that IF the NCAA ever gives them the death penalty it's not going to come until after at least two NOA's. They are going to have to make sure that they have a very legit reason and make sure that everyone in the free world understands why the ruling was legit. So far we have the one NOA and the addendum which are both going to be crushing. A second NOA could be the end.

Yeah, if they get another letter, it's over.
