agreed. The Dawgs folded today but they are becoming a national program. We need to at least make the finals of the SEC Tourney if we want a 1-seed in the NCAA Tourney. Big weekend coming up for them. Being a 1-seed would do wonders for recruiting the next couple of years

We are pretty much out of a 1 seed now. Would likely have to beat SC and win the SECT to get one.

Indeed it does. Before he got here, I believe tickets were free for the games, and even then, just a few showed up. The place was packed today.

I think they're just having growing pains and the nerves and pressure got to them today and in the Kentucky game, much like what happened last year against UConn. Hopefully they can snap out of that and loosen up again for the tournament.

Exactly I don't give a damn who says it. HAVE SOME RESPECT for these ladies. Yes they didn't win a hard game today, but Vic said he is taking care of it. When else has a women's team played for a SEC Championship recently. People need to grow the hell up and stop being sexist.

Part of our problem is Vivians takes way too many damn shots. She's statistically either the worst or 2nd worst 3 point shooter amongst our regulars, yet she has taken over twice as many 3's as the next closest player. Her overall FG% isn't that great either, but the disparity there isn't quite the same as it is with the 3's. I literally don't understand it. If IJ Ready had taken over twice as many 3's as Q. Weatherspoon, our fanbase would be absolutely livid with both Ready and Howland for allowing it to happen. Yet its just swept under the rug for the women's team I guess, probably because like another poster said....folks aren't as emotionally invested.

I've pointed it out multiple times, but she ironically has played better against UK and UT. The thing that has hurt us most in those games is the complete lack of a post game. Against UT, McCowan and Okorie combined to take just 7 shots and make exactly 0. Against UK, they hit 50% but took just 10 shots.

Our defense isn't stellar like it was earlier in the year either. We aren't forcing anything like the turnovers we were getting in the first half of conference play.

A lot of pressure on them being ranked that high and in unchartered waters also. The ball just has fallen in the last 2 games. I hope so too, CD
