Cannizaro has a 2-3 year rebuild on his hands, after getting absolutely gutted like we did.
Howland will have a good team, but it may take a couple of more years. He will have to adapt to changes in the game, and evaluate his recruiting.

2-3 year rebuild? We just won the SEC last year and we just beat a top 20 team at home this past weekend. He has to manage the bullpen better is all.

Agreed. We will be okay, we had some bad injuries that are hurting our pitching but we are figuring out who we can trust. Bout fed up with basketball though, next year has to be the year or we may never come back

Not a baseball guy, but can't coach get some credit for not knowing what his bullpen will do in real game situations for the first time?

That wasn't smith's first bad performance. He did the same Sunday vs another really bad team. Smith's stats...

And some pitchers out on TJ. We need arms. Period.

Correction Todd. We stole a game from TT this weekend. In baseball, everything evens out.
We won one over the weekend we shouldn't have (two actually) and lost one yesterday that we shouldn't have. You can nitpick all you want regarding the coaching decisions, but just like a hard liner to 3rd for an out or a lazy blooper for a hit - it will all even out in the end....

As I stated preseason, losing 4 critical pitchers is going to sting. This is a 30 win team at best. If we make a regional canny should be coach of the year. But we get those guys back plus a good recruiting class and font lose much. Should be pretty good next year.

Eh, give the baseball team a couple of weeks before you make judgment. There are a lot of young pieces that could end up having solid seasons if they can get the jitters out.

Funny that you see it that we stole the TT game but dont see it that Morehead stole last nights game. Win is a win

Infield
We need to be figuring out 3rd base in this early part of the season so we can move Luke to SS. Told yall my boy Luke's bat was gonna be better!

With a young team you are going to see this quite a bit especially in baseball. We will win some games and series we have no business winning and we will lose some head scratchers just part of it.
