We did this crap several times last year and blew games. Left guys in way, way, way too long that had control issues instead of just yanking a guy when he doesn't have it.

You can say it's on the players but this would be squarely on the coaches for not having a short leash. This team is going to have the ability to lose a game or two like this and overcome it like last year's squad

After leadoff singles to the 1st two hitters, Smith gets the call and proceeds to walk 3 of the next 4 with the 4th being a line-out to Marrero who's playing 2nd. Then a double down into the LF corner allows 2 more to score before Smith finally gets pulled. Jolly comes in with runners on 2nd & 3rd and 1st pitch sees a seeing-eye single up the middle to give Morehouse the lead. That's how you lose an 8-3 lead in the 9th!!!
