    Leeville builds kayak ramp

    It's the same place as the public launch under the bridge. It was built for the Hobie championships they recently had. Another good option for kayak guys.

    Nice. We usually stay/launch from Boudreaux's and paddle around that area...assuming that's where I think it is.

    It is. The public launch is right down the road. If you paddled all the way down the canal from Boudreax's, the launch is too the left. It would save you some paddle to launch there.

    Yeah, that's what I thought. That point can get sketchy to paddle around, with the boat traffic. There's some good marsh on the other side though.

    Yeah, be careful in a kayak right there, even though its supposedly no wake very few people observe it. Wife and I almost got swamped there while watching dolphins one evening in my old 16' boat.
