Not only did Mississippi State embarrass LSU on this night. Davis Wade Stadium wrecked Tiger Stadium in music choice, atmosphere and, most of all, volume.
When I'm 80 and deaf, it's not going to be all those Springsteen concerts or Queen at Municipal Auditorium in New Orleans on Halloween Night in 1978, it will be this game...............Glen Guilbeau--Sherveport Times

Let me just say that I think looking at how Moorhead has come in here and held this recruiting thing together just shows me how little Mullins personally meant in our recruiting effort. The recruiting issues Don has had since moving down to UF also enforces my opinion on that as well.

Well now Don's a little handicapped this year. He hasn't had a summer camp at FL full of 2* players to evaluate (and offer) yet. **

Heck these kids aren't stupid, they sensed Don wasn't genuine when they talked to him. Now they talk to Coach Moorhead and are put at ease by his honesty and genuineness. In Cohen I trust! Rep given!

Mullen was and is a horrible recruiter. It made it worse by the fact that he also hates to recruit.
