Lovett best relationship is with Baker not Mullen. We'll have to keep recruiting him but he's committed & still committed for a reason.

He's never been tied to Mullen. If he was going to flip, he would've when his buddy was dropped. Now, OM may take him in an effort to get Lovett, but Lovett's already gotten away from that talk a little. I don't see him flipping, but it could get a little weird if he hangs on til Feb.

This is why we couldn't compete with the big boys consistently under Mullen. Our depth was always questionable. No offense to Jaylon Reed, but if he was P5 material, he would have signed with a P5 school. Instead he commits to UT Martin. This is where we will improve under Dan and why this will ultimately be good for us.

Mullen took his commit a long time ago. That's not the kind of kid whose commitment you take during the summer. Like I said, no offense to Jaylon, but we can't recruit and accept commits from guys that early in the game like that. Forget the stars because there are always Benardrick's and Chris Jones' out there during that time that have garbage rankings. But everyone knew those two were going to be studs.
