A lot of folks haven't been as impressed with Guidry as you might think. He's a good player, but he's not this incredible difference maker that some have attempted to proclaim he is. But, I'm not sure our new offense will be as WR blocking focused as our last one was.

What you described is primarily an outside WR versus a slot minus the route running aspect. Put Guidry in the slot and let him do work. AJ didn't take off until Ole Miss moved him from the primary outside guy.

I hope you are wrong about Jo Mo not using blocks from WR's.

Not what I mean. But Dan's offense isn't as pass friendly as the new one.

I'm definitely thinking our passing attack is about to improve.

Nobody is saying he's not a good WR. We're saying he can't block and he's not a physical ball player. He's long and can go get it. We're just saying there were some rumblings about his inability to block not jiving with Mullen's way of doing things.

And just so everyone doesn’t meltdown NSD if ur watching the so called experts on ESPN that day
Right now according the ESPN 300 rankings they have
Marcus Murphy ranked 9th in the state .. I should stop there . Kid is the best athlete to come out of Mississippi since Snoop . And he isn’t close to the cancer Snoop was.
Cole Smith number 1
Jacquan Webb #4
And Nick Hogan #11

You clearly have no idea how good Desean Jackson was in high school and college. I don't know why fans make ridic comparisons like this.

Just an absolute embarrassment.
For some reason I like Lugenbill but hate and despise the network he is in charge of. Absolutley embarrassing
What stinks about it is it causes the perception of MSU to be a team without talent and a school that can?t attract. It?s an absolute embarrassment but I have no idea how to fix it.
Is Cole Smith even a top 10 player in MS?

ESPN is by far and away the worst recruiting evaluator out there. I never even look at their rankings.

247 the only one I look at. They seem to be most accurate and fair.

Exactly. He would have started this year. Or should have.
The thing is none of our receivers were that good at blocking that I saw.
