Although probably true, I hate this attitude. It's not hard to contact Fields and feel him out to see if he has any interest at all. If he shuts you down, then move on, but if the door is even slightly cracked--I say go all in. Fields is not going to play at UGA for 3 years.

Actually what you are gonna find is those that have been “in the know” are not gonna know as much intially with our new staff coming in. They have know idea what kind of relationships our staff have with different players

I don't mind calling Fields & I could even see him giving Moorhead a courtesy visit but there's less than 2% chance he's coming to MSU. So I'd rather take care of the talented QB we have & that's a known guy with our commits.

Fields is going to be sitting on the bench for the next 3 years at UGA. Fromm is legit and is a perfect fit for their offense. Fields is a perfect fit for Moorhead's offense.

It's weird, in my past I did that so many times. I would actually have better luck in conversation with a 9 or 10, but pass up an awkward situation talking to a 6 or 7, and invariably end up wasting the entire evening.

As for our qb, I think Mayden is an excellent prospect and we need to keep him.
