Awesome! What site is holding Murphy back? Everyone says he should be a 4 star too.

Rivals and Espn. 247 has him as a 4star and top 300. Murphy is going to be a beast, all they have to do is hit play on his highlight tape and it?s a no doubter. Did notice rivals has Spivey as a 4.

Not exactly a star watcher, but with several of our guys finally being correctly ranked, we should pass several teams now ahead of us for a top 25 finish if we finish how y'all predict. It is good PR for any school. Now with 6 4's and Murphy is overdue for a 4. Hail State! THANKS to you guys in the know that update this thread!

To let you know how bad it is, espn has him ranked as the 10th best player in the state behind Jaquan Webb, who is committed to Marshall, and Jemaurian Jones. Maybe even worse is the fact they have Crumedy 11th in the state. Both of them are 3 stars on ESPN.

Man that?s just awful! That?s the first time I?ve looked at Espn recruiting in years. I quit looking cause it sucked so bad. Looks like they?re getting worse. It?s like they put zero effort into rating these kids unless it?s for one of the blue bloods.

That DL from Brookhaven is nowhere close to a 4 star player.

Overweight and lazy doesnt make a 4 star player. That CB from Brookhaven is pretty good wish we would have gone after him more. Franklin from HBurg disappeared against M. Murphy and West Point when they played. Thats a questionable list for sure, the callaway kid at a 4 star, the WR from Oxford arent nearly as good as they have them either

Watching ESPN period is a total waste of time, period. I used to watch a lot of their programming, especially Sportscenter. Most of their new style sports shows now are too many "hosts, sports journalists" who see who can interrupt and yell at each other the most. Easy to see why they are laying off workers and losing $. I no longer watch.

Tv on Espn all the time in the 80s and 90s. Now the only time I ever watch it is for live games. The programming sucks.

Yeah, couldn't wait to catch the latest scores and highlights on SportsCenter. The instant access on info from the internet has made that type programming obsolete. Now just so called experts who really don't add much.

I don't know why 247 has to have that composite rating. Just use their own. I don't think ESPN ever has been able to properly or correctly evaluate players and the Rivals bunch is pretty much off and on.
