I can't see that Mason would be "good" for us if he is traveling all the way to Fayetteville on his own dime. Personally, I don't see the attraction of a B'ham kid wanting to go to a down Arkansas program when he has a closer, better option at MSU.
They got him to come up to see the new defensive coaches. Why those guys couldn?t come to AL is the issue.
To me the question is if he?s HS coach took him or if the family went back there with him. If the family did and they won?t come to Starkville next weekend then the writing is on the wall.
Not sure how good his HS team is but you have think that coach has better shot of getting MSU to take more of his kids than ARK long term
