The thing I've always disliked about Scout's rankings is that the individual site guys have way too much influence on them. Yancy works for their Scout site, that's all you need to know. Check out the 247 comparison.

Exactly. Don't look at a site that is going through bankruptcy. All you need to know about Scout.

247 is the only one to look at to even get a somewhat accurate reading of recruits and rankings. Scout just don't have it. Local guys like yancy inflate theirs to much. Gotta use 247 composite

Tucker Day hurts our rankings as he is a 2 star, but I think we all agree we needed him. Braylon Sanders as a 4 star helps OM, but I think most coaches agree, he is not a 4 star as he had very few power 5 offers in the end including no offer from us.
