You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to CadaverDawg again.

This is why I really don't follow football recruiting because odds are good you will be disappointed with the February's but you really can't argue with the results on the field.
That would be one thing if that's all there is to it. The problem we have is we find the guys we want and of the commits we do get we can't seem to hold them. So we are scrambling once again to use the schollies we have.

    Nice find.

We're a cyclical program, like Iowa. Never gonna reload, but will rebuild & be good enough to make a run for a few years every 3-4 years. Our fans will never see it for what it is, accept it, and enjoy it though. Would rather dump Dan for the football version of Kenny Payne and then after 4 years of suck start looking for another Mullen.

We are like Kansas St and Iowa and maybe Michigan State, and that's a good thing. But some think we should be Oklahoma or Bama....and that simply ain't happening. Gotta accept your niche & learn to capitalize on it.
I agree with this. I will argue that having a competent o line coach could help a good bit though.

Many of us are just pointing out that it's the SOS with Mullen and problems never get fixed.

    Lack of OL recruiting
We only have 2 QB's for next year- 1 a true freshman. Fitz is going to get beat up early next year while we get our new OL situated.
Back to average at best WR's now that Ross and Wilson are gone.

We are cyclical because we can't sustain anything. We can't put 3 solid classes together or consistently recruit some good OL players. If we recruited better on the OL- we wouldn't down cycle. A good OL in 2016 and we don't lose to USA or BYU. 7-5 in a down year is the sign of a much better program
That's true. We aren't far from having winning down seasons, but it's gonna take a little more effort signing up more of the kids that initially favor us. We're decent at getting in the door with most it seems, but we're missing the persistency to keep them till signing day.
