This is a definite tornado. Strong debris signature on radar. Take cover if in path of this storm.

Storm is still warned and went just north of Raleigh. It has weakened, though. A second area of rotation has formed behind the main area, but it also north of Raleigh. There are still storms down south of Jackson that will move over that area. One is showing some signs of organization.

According to the Weather Channel, the tornado in Simpson County did some damage. I think a strong EF2.

There was another warning north of Jackson less than an hour ago. Don't know if it was an actual tornado.

I never saw anything in that Jackson warning that made me think tornado.
