Really dude? If we hit our normal average in free throws, we win the game. We played very well with a lot of effort. Not many teams can stop Fox. UK couldn't stop Peters either with their back court.

Mostella is off UT. We should be able to win the next two at UT and then at home against Missouri. We should be able to build off this win.

Haha. Is that your first time seeing him play? He was the best high school PG in the country last year. Not many people can guard him.

When you play Kentucky, you also play the refs. Proud of the Dawgs and the effort they brought tonight. Basketball has a bright future ahead...

That was good game. Great atmosphere and energy. We are young but we are close boys. The most important part of a basketball game are the first 3 minutes of each half. The first 3 minutes of second half was our undoing. We made some critical mistakes and the refs completely shafted us a few times. This team has a lot of pieces in place and I am very excited about the rest of this season.

And we get South Carolina and Florida at The Hump. A top 4 seed in the SEC tournament is very much in play.

Our ability to score can keep us in every game from here on out. We don't have to play Kentucky again until the SEC tourney. We should gain confidence from this. I think we go 9-4 when we play Florida. If we can go 2-2 against UF, USC, and UK I think we will be in great shape. That will mean all we need to do is to defend our home court against Florida and South Carolina. I think we can do that.

Just flipped over to the OM/Tenn game. Think they could have made that "Ole Miss" at center court any bigger? Looks downright tacky and distracting.
They have a lot of vacancies in the high-dollar seats too.

That's still a tall ask. If we go 2-1 against UF and SC, then we go 13-5 or 14-4 in conference.

We have blown out teams when we are on shooting wise. We have stayed in the games now when we aren't shooting well because of a post game and Herard's development. We just have to take that next step and get to 5-2 in the league over the next two games against UT and Missouri. I think we can. We have continued to improve since using this new lineup.

Just got back.
1. Peters and kegler played their asses off. By far the best game from kegler yet.
2. We are a post player away from being a bubble NCAA team.
3. Great job by the crowd.
4. Kentucky is really athletic
5. Hopefully we can avoid the Kentucky let down at tenn. Glad we have 4 days to regroup.

I think the U.K. Let downs happen because of the blow outs. We actually played them harder then anyone has to this point so I don't think we have a let down at Tennessee.

Yep. It's the effort and the heart. Brandon Vincent would have loved playing in that game I think. If he had we might have won it.

Nope. It was perfect. The students got it, evidently y'all didn't. We went toe to toe with them. If they aren't overrated then we are underrated.

The crowd was 9700. That's a good crowd. I was actually surprised at how few UK fans ended up being there. NOW we have to get it back to where there are none. Tonight was a start.

Next year having 5 bodies in the post will go a long way. Herard and Holman starting with Ado and brooks and datcher coming off the bench. I can't remember the last time we had 5 legititmate bodies in the post.

This is the first time that we match up physically in size with Ky that I can remember.
Actually the announced attendance was 9800 and change.

I'd like that effort too, but there aren't many folks in college basketball that can stay in front of Fox. Plus the Help defense is still a work in progress.
