If we are going to win these games, Q can't disappear in the first half like he has the last two games.

He was throwing it at Fox. It's not even a question.

Kentucky +2 in rebounds
Missing FTs, them hitting 3s and us not, and TOs are the difference.

Pretty much one of the worst officiating I have seen in person. Ricky tack bullshit.

Q is a great player, but he's not the kind of guy who's going to force the action. He lets the game come to him, it's what makes him so good.

Take away the Holman tech and the Peters TO at the end, and it's an 8-point game at worst. We're in it, but it will take a phenomenal second half to have a chance. We need to up the energy, but it's tough when the game is called like this. The refs are ensuring nobody gets a run going and the crowd can't get into it.

During the 5 minutes I've been able to watch we've been called on two fouls for boxing out on rebounds. Are you not allowed to block out anymore?

Their blackout drunk is saving them tonight. Willis has hit 3 of their 4 threes.

We actually just played a really good half. And are still down double figures. KY is really good and better offensively overall than they've been in recent years

That wasn't a good half by us.

It's infuriating to watch College BB these days. Say what you want, but officials call games totally different when 2 highly ranked teams are playing. They put the whistle in their pocket and let the athletes play. Any other game, the refs are becoming the center of attention, more than the players.

The refs get involved when we cut it to 10. All we can do tonight is play our best, and for our guys to get good experience. We will never beat Kentucky again in basketball, because it's not possible.

Not arguing with any of that. Just saying Q isn't a guy who's going to force things because he's our 'go-to guy,' and he's better for it. It wouldn't work with his game.

We will next year when our freshmen get experience and their freshmen leave. The next crop aren't nearly as good as Fox or Monk. But I agree with your sentiment. We just need to go out play our game for the next 20 minutes and see what happens. The biggest thing to me is we don't let one U.K. loss become two (meaning hangover and lose to Tennessee).
