In an interview with Manvel High School (Texas) running back D’Vaughn Pennamon, posted on Feb. 1 on RecruitingNewsGuru.com, Pennamon said that during a visit to Oxford the weekend before Feb. 3, the Ole Miss staff addressed the violations stating, “There were five football violations but the violations happened before Coach Freeze was there.”
The other potential badly misleading case presented by the program and the coaching staff, Freeze supposedly told the recruits, “(the) violations will not affect our class.”

I would love someone to tweet this to Hugh Freeze and ask him why he is telling recruits lies. No reporter will do that for some reason.

I also like listening the the rebel's podcast, mainly because I like to hear their justifications of what is happening to their programs. I listen to Neal McCready quite a bit. It always bugs me how he claims that the NCAA is the only one leaking info about the investigation and that they are doing this to purposefully harm Ole Miss in some sort of vengeful, personal way. He has been quite adamant that Ole Miss has not leaked any info, that that is part of their "exemplary cooperation." So I decided to do a little research. Turns out that Ole Miss has leaked quite a bit. I thought I would include all of the "Ole Miss friendly" news stories here. Most of these have been proven false after the fact. Mod, feel free to add to this list. I am sure I have missed several.
The infamous "this is a good thing" article.
http://gridironnow.com/why-ncaa-noti...-for-ole-miss/
A "sources tell us this has very little to do with football" article by Chris Low.
http://www.espn.com/college-football...ee-sports-ncaa
Another "only 5 of 32 allegations are current staff related". Also says only secondary violations for current staff.
http://www.espn.com/college-football...ee-sports-ncaa
Parrish Alford "opportunity fund" article.
http://djournal.com/sports/parrish-a...-in-paperwork/
Another article that alludes to the "opportunity fund."
http://www.scout.com/story/1665182-d...unsil-ole-miss
Ross Bjork claiming the investigation is over.
http://www.saturdaydownsouth.com/ole...ic-department/
There is also statement from Deontay Anderson that I can't find now. But it was reported that Hugh Freeze assured him that the NOA was not a big deal that it would have little to no impact on the program or his job security.
All of these are articles that are citing "sources" from Ole Miss that tried to down play the magnitude of the allegations, or just flat out falsify the information, in order to make Ole Miss look good. So...Ole Miss fans, and you too Neal (because I know that you are Not A Fan) when you hear people complaining about the NCAA leaks, just remember that YOUR institution has been behind plenty of leaks too.
Someone needs to post this on nafoom.

Simple: Anyone who cheats has no compunction about lying.

Wow...I wonder if Pat Forde read this post I made from earlier this year!

Actually...no. There is nothing that makes me want to visit their boards. I don't give a s%&@ about them douchebags. I want them buried then I'll dance on their graves but until then I sure as hell am not going to give their sites clicks.

Got some room for improvement on the production side of things, but not bad for a local broadcast. I recommend fellow Dawg fans to subscribe to the podcast, if they are not already doing so.
Thanks Steve.

OMG...... OM was STILL committing those "RECRUITING VIOLATIONS" when they stated this.... what the hell?
Rev. Freeze -- "THOU SHALT NOT LIE"... "THOU SHALT NOT COMMIT ADULTERY" -- yet OM coaches paid for Escorts.....
I cannot even say what I really want too... I pray I NEVER come face to face with Freeze... I will have my say for sure...

I know I posted in it and somebody else posted the third guy's name.
Did they only sign 3 kids in that class?? Because I would be surprised if all of them were not lied to.

I don't know their boards/sites. I've looked at their board on secrant and their posters are MIA from that place lately. List a few please other sites, I'd seriously like a laugh. TIA

I don't, but I appreciate those willing to listen/read and bring it here for us to laugh at.
