I'm not one for fancy playing, as you can see, but I picked up a couple ribeyes and fresh shrimp for some surf and turf. I wish a little disappointed as I went in for tripletails to make turf and turf, but they only had one large filet left. Had a couple yuengling lights as I cooked.

Cold here in coastal Ga. Built my first fire of the season. Roasted some jerk chicken, mashed potatoes, and green beans. Sitting in my antique Morris chair by the fire enjoying a glass of Bulliet, with a 16 year old Main Coon cat sitting in my lap.

Bruns - I grabbed a bottle of Bulliet barrel proof in KY a few weeks back. If you can find it, it is totally worth the pick up.

Made one hell of a haul from Nova Scotia to Ontario and have seen enough snow to last me for a while. Stopped by the Stone City brewery in Kingston today and grabbed a couple beers. The IPA goes well with a view of Lake Ontario. No cooking for me though - ready to get home and get back to the grill.

Had not heard of their IPL. The yeungling Black and Tan is pretty damn good.

Hit the market and got a couple of lbs of fresh Georgia white shrimp and an lb of fresh picked crab claw meat. Made a great corn and bacon chowder to throw them in. Great eating on a chilly night. Getting ready to pour some bourbon and watch the MLS Cup Final.

The IPL is good, but that Black & Tan is a great winter beer.
