    Defensive question concerning coaching personalities

I'm not able physically to attend practices or games due to an illness. I was a defensive coordinator for a number of years on the 5A and 6A level. I spent a lot of time with Jim Thompkins who coached LB's at state under Rocky and Sherrill. Jim was a great teacher and motivator to his players. I also thought he was the best recruiter on those staffs. He got a lot of players out of GA. He always told me that players take on the personality of their coach, and I agree if the coach can connect with the players and Jim was one of the best at that. I've only seen Sirmon during games, but his personality on the sidelines seem very unemotional
and very passive. He looks like he's scared or reluctant to make a call before looking at Mullen. This is the kind of play our players look like they are doing too. We need someone piss vinegar and get in their ass.
