    Back into bowl projections

Schlabach has us playing East Carolina in Birmingham.
McMurphy has us playing Oklahoma in the Texas Bowl.

I'd be thrilled with Birmingham right now. Just want to keep the streak alive

This year I would be thrilled to make any bowl. I'm scared to death that USA debacle is going to come back and haunt us in December.

Wow. Is OU that far off the rails?

Auburn basically determines our season in terms of bowls. If we win we most likely get to 6 wins. If we don't the road is difficult. Have to beat BYU, Samford, UK, and probably Arkansas to get to 6 wins. That's doable but definitely makes it a little harder.

Somehow it always comes back to Auburn.

It could mean that that point in time inherently contains some sort of cosmic significance. Almost as if it were the temporal junction point for the entire space-time continuum. On the other hand, it could just be an amazing coincidence.

The forces are in play that Malzhan will be fired. I see us beating Auburn 24-17 or something like that. Bo Bounds stating that Auburn is fifth in the SEC is just plain dumb.

Sucks that auburn won Saturday. If they lose that game, Gus would pretty much be done and they may have quit.
