Yep that Hevesy is one helluva recruiter and COACH.. Jeez that's 17ing ridiculous !!

Looks like Holloway could have turned it up for one of those Rankin highlights
-
To be fair, Clayborne got tripped and the DE was way offsides on the Rankin sack. And both of their TD reviews should've been overturned.
That said I don't see us doing very well in conference play this year.

Two Seniors and a Redshirt Jr, by the way.

Our o-line isn't great but they're not this bad. More of a motivation issue in my opinion. Our whole team, the OL and DL in particular, came out asleep. Why can't we ever get up and dominate inferior opponents out of the gate like an sec team should?

Can you imagine what Myles Garrett is gonna do to Rankin??

Because our coach views those games as extended bye weeks?

The other defensive end at TAMU looks five times more dominant than Myles.

I don't understand the constant remarks by Dan on our being a young team. Check out how many Seniors and Redshirt Jrs are starters. Even Ward, a Senior started at LB last night. Look at Seniors in the OL, the DL, at LB, and reps at RB. Durr is JC, but Smokey is also a Redshirt Jr, I think (the 2 injured players they replaced are also upper classmen). Now the 2 deep may be young. Heck, even our kickers are Jr and Senior.

Desper is and has been a liability, horrible feet and a step slow. If this is the best we have it's rough of Hev is playing favorites.

That's because "we're young" is an excuse that the casual fans might pick up on so that they have something to keep in mind when the hardcore fans tell them that we have major problems.

Calhoun moved behind Clayborn and tripped him

Good thing he might not play. That injury looked bad last night. has anyone heard the extent of it? I don't believe he came in except for a couple plays after injuring it.

Some of our OL couldn't get a pancake block on a DLman if a teammate got behind the DL on all fours for lineman one to push him over lineman 2 like in elementary school. Disclaimer: I couldn't block very well either in high school, but I was a 140 lb tight end. ( I could run the 100 in 11 flat however).
